At Robinwood Kennel, we provide comprehensive cat and dog kennel services for customers across the region. Our pet boarding facility is designed for cats and dogs and optimized to meet their needs. Below, you’ll find more information about each pet boarding and dog kennel service we offer.
Two sisters, a log cabin, and 50 acres of land. Such was the beginning of Robinwood Kennel. After purchasing the land in 1956, Margaret and Ann Robinson, two single sisters from Fort Thomas, soon began keeping the pets of their friends for short periods of time. This trend continued, and by 1970, Robinwood Kennel officially opened. Aided by their nephew, Joe Pitzer, the kennel soon became the premier boarding facility in the area and continued to grow in size and services.

Dogs
Robinwood Kennel provides indoor and outdoor dog kennels for dogs of all sizes. Each dog is separated by chain link fencing both inside and outside as well as by an additional small concrete block "half wall" on the inside for safety and privacy while they eat and sleep. Each dog has access to their own outdoor run via a doggy door, which is kept open as weather permits. All of the outdoor dog kennels are connected to a larger exercise area. Dogs are rotated into the exercise area throughout the day.
Cats
Cats and other small pets stay in a room separate from the dogs or in a separate building depending on availability, time of year, and length of stay. Each cat has his/her own cage with a higher shelf for relaxing.
Boarding Prices
Dogs
- $18 - $24 per day for an indoor/outdoor run.
- Price depends on size, age, & breed.
- Larger Exercise Yard Access: FREE!
- Walks: $4 for 15 minutes.
Cats (and other small animals)
- $15 per day.
Discounts
- Multiple dog/cat/pet boarding.
- Boarding two or more of your dogs/cats/pets in the same run where feasible.
- Discounted Monthly and Extended Stay rate discounts are also available.
